Volunteering at Your Library
Are you a book lover, a history buff, or someone who just loves giving back to the community? Our library is more than just a building full of books—it’s a hub of discovery, and we need your help to keep it thriving.
Whether you have a few hours a month or a few hours a week, your time makes a tangible difference in preserving our past and inspiring the next generation of readers.
Ways You Can Make an Impact:
We have a variety of roles suited to different interests and skill sets:
Archives & History: Help us preserve the legacy of our community by organizing historical documents and scanning new donations in the Archives department.
Youth Literacy: Bring stories to life! We are looking for enthusiastic readers to lead storytime sessions for children.
Collection Care:Keep our shelves looking their best by shelving, labeling, processing, and organizing our ever-growing collection of books.
Events & Programming: Assist our staff in setting up and managing exciting library events and community programs like crafts, book sales, parades, and more.
Share Your Talent: Do you have a unique skill? From music to crafting, we welcome volunteers interested in leading specialized workshops.
Ready to get started? Please complete our online application form or contact your local branch to let us know a bit more about you and how you’d like to help. We can’t wait to work with you!
