Summer Reading Program
Welcome to our 2019 Summer Reading Program and the TD Summer Reading Club. Both are free programs run by libraries to encourage kids ages 12 and under to read over their summer break running through July and August as well as continue learning in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), art, and physical activities.
The program gives kids and opportunity to learn and grow as they explore a wide range of stories and experiences. Each kid sets their own goal to each points, and is given a notebook to track activities, and report back to the Leeds & The Thousand Islands Libraries to earn prizes throughout the summer. A variety of prizes helps keep the kids on track to meet their goals and enter to win a grand prize at the end of the summer.
