Bringing leisure and learning programs to your local library branch
The
Lakes and Islands Lifelong Learning: Library Community Development is an exciting joint literacy initiative supported by the Public Library Boards of
Rideau Lakes and
Leeds and the Thousand Islands thanks to a one-time literacy grant from the Province of Ontario.
The recommendations of this library development project will provide both Library Boards with invaluable information for the planning of future library services, programs and staffing. A workable business plan will address sustainability through funding opportunities and partnerships.
