Your library card is the gateway to a multitude of services at the library...
It’s easy!! Visit any of our four branches to register for a library card. Your library card is FREE if you reside in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands. You will be asked for verification of your Township address so please bring a driver’s license, mail or something that confirms your identity and address.
If you reside outside the Township but own property, work or go to school in the Township you also qualify for free membership. Please bring documentation to support this.
Children who meet the above criteria may apply for their own library card at the age of 12. If a child is under 12 years old, a parent or guardian must sign for the child accepting responsibility for the library account.
We have reciprocal borrowing privileges with the Gananoque Public Library and Rideau Lakes Public Library. You may join our library system free of charge if you have a current library card with either of these two library systems.
Non-residents of the Township may get a library card. The fee is $20.00 per year.
We also offer temporary, seasonal or holiday memberships. The fee is $20.00 per time period. $15.00 is refundable once the card is cancelled. Your temporary and permanent addresses are required for registration.
You must bring your library card every time you wish to borrow library resources or use the computers.
All patron membership records are confidential.
