Services: Get a Library Card

Your library card is the gateway to a multitude of services at the library...

It’s easy!! Visit any of our four branches to register for a library card.

Your library card is FREE in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands. You will be asked for verification of your address so please bring a driver’s license, mail or something that confirms your identity and address.

Children who meet the above criteria may apply for their own library card at the age of 12. If a child is under 12 years old, a parent or guardian must sign for the child accepting responsibility for the library account.

We have reciprocal borrowing privileges with the Gananoque Public Library, Rideau Lakes Public Library, Athens Public Library, Elizabethtown-Kitley Public Library and Edwardsburg Cardinal Public Library. You may join our library system free of charge if you have a current library card with either of these two library systems and vice versa.

You must bring your library card every time you wish to borrow library resources or use the computers.

All patron membership records are confidential.
