Your library card is your key...
- Please bring your card all the time as this protects the confidentiality and accuracy of your library account. There is a fee of $1.00 if you do not bring your card with you to borrow library resources.
- If you lose your card there is a $3.00 replacement fee
- All books, magazines, music/audio: 21 days (3 weeks)
- DVDs: new releases: 1 day
- DVDs and videos (other): 7 days (1week)
- There is a 25 item borrowing limit
- There is a 20 item hold/reserve limit
- Books, magazines, music/audio: .25¢ per day for adults; children no charge
- DVDs and Videos: $1.00 per day
- The original cost of the material plus a $5.00 processing fee
- Most items may be renewed twice
- You may renew in the library, by phoning us or on-line through your library account
- Please note if items are already overdue, the fines must be paid and library staff will renew them for you
- Items borrowed from other Ontario libraries may be renewed by contacting library staff; these renewals are subject to the lending library’s policies
- If something you want is checked out at the moment or at one of our other branches, you may ask the library staff to place a hold on it for you; you may also place your own hold through your library account on our website
- If an item is not owned by our library, we will make every effort to get it for you through other Southern Ontario libraries and our interlibrary loan services
