How to Use My Account

Once you have logged in (using the form above), you will need to click on "My Account." From here, you are able to renew material, place holds, change your address and change your PIN. You can also send messages to the staff, request material on Interlibrary Loan, or recommend titles for the Library to order for the collection.


Placing Holds & Renewals

You may renew your materials in the Library, by phoning us or on-line through your library account. Most items may be renewed twice. However, material that is overdue or that has been requested by another patron cannot be renewed online. If items are already overdue, the fines must be paid and library staff will renew your items for you.

You may place a hold either by requesting it of the library staff or placing a hold by logging into your online account. The maximum number of holds is 20. You will be notified when your hold becomes available. Items on hold will be held for one week.


Borrowing Materials

Please bring your card all the time as this protects the confidentiality and accuracy of your library account.


Overdue Fines & Fees

  • Fines are counted on open days only

  • Grace Period: 1 Day

  • Adult: .25¢ per day

  • Children: No Charge

  • DVDs: $1.00 per day

  • Interlibrary Loan Books: $1.00 per day


  • Replacement Card: $3.00

  • Lost or Damaged Items: Cost of Item (+$5 Processing)

  • Loss of Circulation Privileges with 5 overdue items or $20 in overdue fines

Loans and Loan Periods

  • Books, Magazines, CDs: 3 weeks

  • DVDs: 1 week

  • DVDs (New Release): 1 day

  • Maximum Number of Loans: 25

  • Maximum Number of Holds: 20
